LIVE MUSIC AT RUSTFELT
This summer marked the opening of our butik in the old butcher shop! At our soft opening with neighbors and friends Brian was asked to play a song! From that moment on our idea of what was possible was forever shifted (thanks Charlotte:)
Brian would go on to play every Saturday for the whole of the summer and as time went on we had other local musicians coming to perform inside and outside our little butik. We are honored to have had such a great lineup of talented folks this summer and look forward to hosting more live music in the future! Stay tuned!

BRIAN MARX GIBSON
Resident musician and embroiderist Brian spent the summer performing his original songs on his 1919 Gibson L1. Martin Willer writes of Brian’s sound: “Brian Marx Gibson laver vidunderlige, sjove, poetiske og meget originale sange et finurligt sted mellem Tom Waits of Harry Nilsson."
The below songs were recorded in the makeshift sound studio installation in the butik’s Kølerum. All instruments are played by Brian :)
SAMSØ SANGSILD
Island favorites and revue songstresses Samsø Sangsild performed an incredible, funny and heartwarming set of tunes to celebrate the end of a great opening season!

MARTIN WILLER
The ever enchanting guitarist Martin Willer swept a captivated audience away with his beautiful renditions of classical Brazilian music. The sound is many things at once: delicate, masterful and commanding. You can see Martin playing at bingo 156 in Copenhagen and occasionally at Høst in Mårup.

RENÉ WULFF
Brundby resident and local legend René Wulff performed his original blues songs with guitar and harmonica outside of Rustfelt on a beautiful summer day for an excited crowd of fans and thirsty cyclists!
René shared many interesting stories from his impressive career as a musician, from his time as drummer for C.V. Jørgensen to his tours with Queen Ida to sharing the stage with The Doobie Brothers!

THE DYMBILL QUARTET
On an incredible summer morning, The Dymbill Quartet played outside of Rustfelt, filling all of Pillemark with beautiful contemplative jazz. It was an absolute joy to witness.
Søren Kræsten and Christian Skjærbæk play guitar with Martin Lauritzen on keyboards and local Kim Frandsen on trumpet.

Join us for an outdoor concert with the incredible René Wulff! René was the longtime drummer for C.V. Jørgensen but Saturday he will be performing his original blues songs with guitar and harmonica. We are beyond thrilled to host such a legend! Come enjoy a coffee and homemade popsicle and take in the sounds :)
